Out of time... we were two painters (Kalsang from Dharamsala was my companion in this adventure!) and a small team working on this amazing project in 2006! I felt like a rocket! after these, we made an other 300 ! Yes, this is Vajra Pride!!!
It is important to let you know who are my main teachers, this is a little bit like telling you where I am coming from really! Here, Sogyal Rinpoche, my rootmaster, or Tsawe Lama in the Tibetan tradition is with HH Dalai Lama. HH came to Lerab Ling, the main center of Sogyal Rinpoche in 2008.
I have been working with Sogyal Rinpoche since 2006.
Prior to Lerab Ling, I lived in Nepal and study for 6 years thangka painting at the Tsering Art School of Shechen Monastery under the guidance of my dear master Konchog Lhadrepa. HH Khyentse Rinpoche, is I am sure the "invisible" cause of this blessed journey!!!
Here, with Sogyal Rinpoche in Shechen Monastery, in Nepal, during the tree days celebration of the 100 years Dilgo Khyentse's Anniversary.
Konchog Lhadrepa has a very significant role in my life, I owe him this incredible discovery of what really is 'Sacred Art'.
Do not mistake it, he is not sleeping! KonchokLa travels in the worlds he is most familiar with, the world of the Deities, of the Dakinies...
And this is Karma, my dear Tai Chi Master, an incredible Gelong (monk with the highest ordination, 253 vows!) Karma is also a World Champion in his discipline (I won't tell you much about it as he is so humble and discret!). He is now struggling for the environment in Kathmendu under the guidance of HH Karmapa.
Hello Everyone! This has been my working space for the last 4 years. I am happy to show you this magic environment where Buddhas and Bodhisattvas come alive! I am currently the Traditional Painter in Lerab Ling, Sogyal Rinpoche's center in the South of France.
This blog is such a wonderful opportunity to share with you my passion about Tibetan Sacred Art, it is only the beginning, I hope you will enjoy the journey as much as I do!
Yours, Lhadri.
